Description of Ambient execution:
Speed around schools has always been a huge issue in the Rodney district. So to get people to slow down we created a poignant campaign that would get people thinking about how it would feel to kill a child. To launch the campaign we plastered the whole district with images of a haunting little girl. For two weeks people saw the mysterious girl on walls, poles, around schools, shopping malls, parks, road sides, etc. Then during week three of the campaign we placed a sticker over the girl revealing the line, в??The kids you kill never leave you.в??

Challenge: In China, 21 million kids have been relocated to cities with their migrant working parents. A quarter of them have no hope of ever getting an education. The challenge was to highlight the plight of these kids, and in doing so, raise enough money to get them into school. How could we make people stop, think and begin to appreciate these kids? Solution:Appeal to their higher interests. Leveraging the growing appreciation for contemporary Chinese art, New Citizen Project commissioned local artists to create installation art pieces outside popular art galleries around Beijing. The pieces were created from construction materials often used by migrant workers; each with a book placed just out of reach. Effect:"Viewing the New Citizen Project pieces as art, large crowds gathered to discuss the merits of the work, only to be confronted by a harsh reality. Under the headline was a number to call if people wished to donate. So far, enough money has been raised to commission a new school and enroll 950 new students, with fundraising efforts continuing."

For the launch of Green Works, a 99% plant-based cleaner, we chose the biggest, dirtiest area we could find to demonstrate that the product was both environmentally friendly and that it worked better than other green cleaners. WIth the help of Green Works, reverse graffiti pioneer Paul в??Mooseв?? Curtis created a 140-foot long, eco-friendly mural of indigeous plant life at the entrance to San Francisco's Broadway Tunnel by cleaning away yearsв?T worth of dirt and pollution. Over one year later, the mural is still visible to over 20,000+ people that pass by daily.

myToys.de is Germanyв?Ts largest online toy store. The task was to advertise LEGO, one of the companyв?Ts leading products. We created an interactive outdoor campaign that was as playful as LEGO itself. Therefore we utilized QR Codes, which are increasingly popular in Germany. They are able to encrypt all kinds of information, including web links. Three-dimensional and colourful QR Codes were built by hand - using real LEGO bricks! Curious passers-by could crack a LEGO Code, simply by taking a picture with the QR reader of their cell phone. The decoded message suggested one of many imaginative possibilities that could be built with the LEGO bricks used in the code that people were standing in front of! With the included web-link the corresponding LEGO box could be ordered directly from the myToys website.
