Я бы не делал каждый фрагмент одинаковой длины.
Некоторые сцены можно оставить на 2-3 секунды, а несколько самых красивых кадров показать чуть дольше.

Я бы не добавлял текст на каждую сцену. Одна фраза в начале и одна в финале выглядят гораздо чище.
Как сохранить пару похожей на себя
Это самая важная часть всей генерации.
Если в первой вселенной человек похож на себя, а через пять кадров становится совершенно другим персонажем, эффект теряется.
Поэтому во всех промтах нужно закреплять хотя бы несколько признаков:
цвет и форму волос;
относительный рост;
возраст;
бороду или усы;
очки;
характерные черты лица;

При сильной стилизации невозможно сохранить лицо буквально пиксель в пиксель. Например, в LEGO или Angry Birds человеческой анатомии вообще нет.

Почему картинки лучше делать до видео
Теоретически можно попросить видеомодель сразу превратить пару в мультяшных персонажей.

правильно ли передан рост;
не поменялись ли местами люди;

Не обязательно использовать сложные AI-переходы.
Самый надежный вариант - обычный быстрый монтаж в ритм музыки.
Но есть одна хитрость.
Старайтесь выбирать кадры, где персонажи находятся примерно в одной части экрана.
Если в первом видео лица находятся по центру, а в следующем вдруг оказываются в противоположных углах, переход чувствуется резче.
Можно также чередовать похожие действия:
держатся за руки;
обнимаются;
смотрят друг на друга;
идут вместе;
целуются;
снова держатся за руки.
Тогда даже совершенно разные визуальные стили воспринимаются как одна история.
